1938

The company was founded by the engineer Erwin Halder to produce the patented Simplex soft-face mallet.

1940

The company files with the Register of Companies. The first factory is built.

1948

Production of standard parts as well as cutting, punching, and drawing tools begins.

1971

Conversion into a limited partnership. Direction of the company is assumed by the oldest son of Erwin Halder, engineer Werner Halder.

1973

The Halder V70 fixture system is launched on the market.

1986

We present our smallest fixture system, the V40. Purchase of the Laupheim manufacturing plant.

1989

The "Halder Jig and Fixture Systems" product family is expanded to include the hole-and-dowel system. Additionally, Halder systems are designed to enable all systems to be easily combined with one another.

1990

Completion of the new factory building.

1992

The company moves into the new office building in Bronnen.

1994

Certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001 is obtained.

1997

Halder is present on the internet under "www.halder.de".

1998

Completion and occupation of the newly built standard parts factory building and warehouse in Bronnen (at the same time, standard parts production is shifted back from Laupheim to the head office in Bronnen).

2000

Change in management. After directing the company for 40 years, Engineer Werner Halder places the management into the hands of his son, Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing. Stefan Halder.

2003

Certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 is obtained.

2005

Addition of inch sizes to our comprehensive Spring Plungers line.

2006

EN 9100 auditing (based on ISO 9001:2000). Approved supplier of Airbus Deutschland GmbH.

2007

Certification according to EN 9100.
